Christ’s Testimony Church began in June 1995 when Julius and Elizabeth were lead to begin a work in this area. This church was established as a mother church and now has 4 working churches under it’s leadership. They are doing a wonderful outreach into the areas around Bungoma.

Julius and Elizabeth have established a faithful congregation as well as continually reaching out into the community and surrounding area with the Word and the Love of God. Their vision for Bungoma is to share the gospel by testifying of the Lord Jesus Christ and what He is in their lives. They want to help plant other churches, reach out to help the needy, and work towards their church being a center to reach the community with educational materials, a library for pastors and leaders, and a training center. They also have a future dream to build a mission hospital after the church as the main organ is built.

Accomplishments thus far on Christ Testimony Church:

Faithful congregation established.
7 church fellowships working under the leadership of this ministry
Grounds leveled and trees and brush removed.
The New Christ Testimony Church and Discipleship Center now has the walls up, and a wonderful metal roof. We are working on windows, doors and finishing up the exterior, then we will begin on the interior portions.
Good toilets completed on the grounds.
An auxiliary building also is in place.

Translation Work by Rev. Julius Ashiono

Julius is our Swahili translator for this site. He does a great job and is easy to work with. He also translates for Kenyan pastors in his area who need their lessons, Bible literature, and books done. This talent has been a blessing in the work of building the Discipling Center of Christ Testimony Church now in progress.
