BIBLE OUTREACH

 

Rom 10:14-15

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?

and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard ?

and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written,

How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, 

and bring glad tidings of good things!

Bible Outreach is the very core of all our ministry, whether it is the distribution of the written Word, the spoken Word or the Word in action through provision and caring ministries. The importance of having the written Word cannot be emphasized enough.

In our Bible Outreach program we have targeted three special groups for specific reasons: Pastors (and other Leaders), Students and New Converts. Specifically, the Pastors we provide with Bibles because in giving the leaders the Word we touch more than just one life, we touch their whole congregation. We provide students with Bibles because they are the leaders of the future and they desperately need training and grounding in the Word. Finally, New Converts have so little to start with and we want to provide them with the Word so they can grow to be whole, healthy, Christian adults and affect the world around them.

Imagine someone coming to you  and sharing the gospel. They give you a new hope, but, though you caught a glimpse of the Blessed Hope they offered you in Jesus, though you invited Him into your life and experienced His reality, you had no way to read His Word and learn more. Think carefully for a moment what it would be like to try reach God without His Word to study. Such is the life of many, many Christians today all over the world.

Many pastors, evangelists, and fellowship leaders in Northern Uganda, Kenya and DRC face just such hardships. They struggle to bring encouragement and needed knowledge to a people many times without the Word in their hands to study and share.
 
MwA, CCC and CTM are making a difference by placing the Word with pastors, leaders and students. We also supply Bibles in local language (s) to people who get saved through our outreach ministries.
